Super Audio CD Mastering

Super Audio CD is a new high resolution music carrier. Introduced by Sony and Philips to succeed the Audio CD, it aims to meet the demands of both the music industry (copy protection, watermarking) and music lovers (high resolution, surround capability) while still retaining full compatibility with the standard CD.

The SACD can feature stereo, surround or stereo as well as surround content on one disc. A separate CD layer (that will play when the disc is inserted into a standard CD player) is available on a hybrid SACD.

At 24-96 Mastering we can create the final cutting master from your DSD recordings or PCM mixes, create an audiophile SACD catalog re-issue from an original vinyl pressing or even generate a surround mix from your stereo source.

As well as authoring, we offer high resolution mastering and DSD editing, merging many aspects of SACD production into one integrated process. Our aim is to make the process of creating an SACD as transparent as the sound you will get.
